If you want to try appliqué - this is easy enough for a beginner. You can finish these as a series of 15" wall hangings (or turn them into cushions)... or combine and add a border to make a 62 x 77 1/2" - twin size quilt.

I'm kitting this in 1930's reproduction fabrics.

First month includes all background and block framing fabric as well as the fabrics for the appliqué and the pattern -  $34.25; the next 10 months will be $8; and the 12th month will include the sashing, border and binding fabric (unless you advise me that you're making the individual wall hangings) - $52.....

A little piecing - a lot of fairly easy appliqué..... Make a basket for every month of the year and fiish up with this 85" x 95" double/queen size bed quilt.

I'm kitting this in country colours and the background fabric is tea dyed so the finished quilt will be 'homier' than pictured......
