Valdani Variegated Thread
This stuff is irresistible - It's hand dyed in batches ( so be sure to buy enough - the next batch may be slightly different). Because  it is hand dyed the colour variations are random, producing a more natural looking result.

 

 
These threads are for both regular sewing machines and long arm quilting machines.

It comes in different weights and sizes. If you are machine quilting the 50 weight thread will give you a more subtle look.... the heavier 35 (40) weight thread will be more decorative.
