For those who make quilts to be used...
Particularly in the Great White North.... the thickest (about polar fleece
weight), cozy, cotton battings, These guys
hand-needle easily and are great for machine quilting - even long-arms love them.

Warm and Natural
A lighter weight than the Simply Cotton - but
easier to hand quilt. It's also wonderful to machine quilt up to to 4" apart. It
washes soft and drapes beautifully.
90" wide (before washing - expect about 3%
shrinkage)...

Hobbs Polydown in dark charcoal Gray....
If your quilt top
and backing are dark it only makes sense to use a dark batting.
This poly batting is soft (when washed), easy to quilt, machine
washable, and non-allergenic. -

More Polyester Batting.....Poly batts are easy to hand quilt and less expensive than natural fiber. They're also a good choice for someone with allergy problems. They're puffier than cottons...... These are a good quality and will stand up to a lot of use - from Soft Landings.
Fat Batts - these are fatter and puffier than a regular batt -
